In honor of the celebration of love falling upon us (Valentine’s Day), Milwaukee musicians B~Free and Klassik joined forces to bring their magic to the late Aaliyah‘s hit single “Come Over.” They took the slow groovy number and jazzed it up in a way that only they can. Find out more about the revamped version of the tune presented by Voodoo Honey Records after the break.

The Unveiling

414 super diva Kaylee Crossfire dropped her long awaited mixtape at the end of 2016 and it’s true what they say: good things come to those who wait. The tape is colorfully labeled The Unveiling. The 11 track collective features some notable remixes of a few mainstream hits as well as a few all original numbers. She gives us the best of both worlds by incorporating both her vocal and rhyming skills throughout the project. Readers might already be familiar with previously released tunes: “Female Takeover” and “No Type,” but there are definitely other joints that deserve some recognition too. Keep reading beyond the break to discover what said joints are and more.

Luxury

Meet Khadijah Monay Miller, better known by the stage name Luxury. She is an independent artist who specializes in the mastery of a Pop, Urban, EDM, and Reggae blended sound. She has worked with an independent label from 2012-2014 and is now ready to take her career to the next level. Raised in Newark, NJ her love for music and the arts came about almost instinctively. Since the beginning of time Luxury has been showcasing her talent and diligently working towards actualizing her dreams of being a world renowned singer and songwriter. She is heavily influenced by Pop Culture and 90’s Hip-Hop and R&B, such as: Aaliyah, Beyoncé, Brandy, Rihanna, Madonna, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, and Chris Brown. Due to Luxury’s eclectic style her songwriting is a little different from most songwriters who started out as poets. Instead of beginning the song by writing she “finds her melodies first and then the words fall into place.” By relying on the melodies to anchor the feelings and emotions of the songs, she is able to reach a broader audience and not be boxed in by one particular sound.
