The site’s favorite pink haired goddess, Pinqy Ring, recently reached out with a couple of exciting career updates and a brand new song/video. The Chicago emcee was blessed with a grant from her hometown to embark on her very own tour. To kick off the tour. Pinqy will be rocking the stage at the infamous Taste Of Chicago event which just so happens to be going down today. Her set will include a live band as well as DJs. So if you happen to be in attendance, be sure to check her out. I’m sure she will not disappoint.

South-side Milwaukee veteran artist Rockz (formerly known as Rockz Solid) recently decided to officially dust off her mic & pen and come out of her self-imposed retirement. Needless to say, we the people are very pleased. To kick off her return to music, the 414 spitter debuted a single/video called “DJ Itchin.” The track is produced by Trunk Bussa with cuts from the one & only DJ Sham.

The Unveiling

414 super diva Kaylee Crossfire dropped her long awaited mixtape at the end of 2016 and it’s true what they say: good things come to those who wait. The tape is colorfully labeled The Unveiling. The 11 track collective features some notable remixes of a few mainstream hits as well as a few all original numbers. She gives us the best of both worlds by incorporating both her vocal and rhyming skills throughout the project. Readers might already be familiar with previously released tunes: “Female Takeover” and “No Type,” but there are definitely other joints that deserve some recognition too. Keep reading beyond the break to discover what said joints are and more.
