The team over at Purple Label, LLC have been in the Hip-Hop scene for many years performing at open mics and showcases around the city. AG Da Gift is more than a perfect example of a leader whose actions speak louder than words and this man has a lot to say. His sixth release which dropped on August 24th, 2013, titled Pardon The Interruption: The Gift Tape, consists of 18 original tracks produced mainly by AG himself with Trixx, Rich P, and JD Wells guest appearing on the production. The features are limited on this project as well with: Rich P, Dri Cardan, PD Manns, Michelle Lauriel, Mike Hawthorne, Status, and Mova. With actual working experience in the main stream music industry, AG has already released two videos off of this release.

“Shine”

Filmed on location around the city of Milwaukee, this video takes center stage with Rich P featuring as well as friends and loved ones in AG’s personal life. The song deals with the dreams and choices of a budding artist coming into his prime and realizing not only that beefs are a petty waste of time but that foes can make the best friends. The video is available for view at this link and a previous review of the video can be found here. You can truly feel the love of his crew behind this one.

“Puff Puff Pass”

This track is dedicated to all the smokers worldwide. Filmed in the basement of an unknown location, the Purple Label team shows off exactly how they like to unwind. Sipping on that Hennessy and rolling up blunt after blunt after blunt of that sticky goodness, the visuals flow evenly with the chopped and screwed lyrics and crispy beat. This video is simplistic in its direction but delivers the powerful message that everybody needs a way to kick back and let the stress of the day melt away. Check it out here and enjoy.

Available for purchase on iTunes, be sure to get your copy today and enjoy the blending of Hip-Hop, city living, and positive influence that Pardon The Interruption: The Gift Tape will have on your life. ~Biggz
