Most rappers would be somewhere taking it easy after a big mixtape release. But the homie $killz is not most rappers and thus is still going strong. Fresh off the release of his smash mixtape Sound Of Superman, he is gearing up to drop a new EP. The first cut off of the EP is a track titled “Workin.” He released visuals for the song just yesterday. Take a look below.

This video was directed by Sergio Soprano of EsGee Films. The video concept centers around $killz holding down an ordinary 9 to 5. Therefore the primary scene shows the Milwaukee emcee handling his business in a kitchen area. He’s rocking an apron, scraping dishes, washing dishes, etc. Additional scenes include $killz chilling on the city bus and him doing what he does best, killing it in the studio. All in all, this was an entertaining and dope watch. Very creative way to bring the track to life. $killz’s upcoming EP is entitled It Was All A Dream. The project is being produced by Big Curse of Nak Music and  is set to drop April 20, 2012. So the smokers will have some ill Hip-Hop to vibe to on their special day, nice.

**My Two Cents: I loved this video because the concept was easy to relate to.  Anybody working a typical 9 to 5 or riding the bus would get a kick out of this. Also, I thought it was slightly comical. Especially since $killz doesn’t strike me as the dish washing type. I think everybody in Milwaukee has rode the bus at least once in their life. So that was more believable. Anyways, this was a dope video for a dope record. Can’t wait for the EP! -MinM
