Another masterpiece from the Southside family has hit The Illixer. Talented free spirited femcee RockzSolid has dropped a brand new video. The video is for her song “Pressure” which is a cut from her latest project For The Love. The song features Pudj of Money Hungry and the music video can be seen below.
The video was shot and edited by Sinista New Breed for Evocative Image. The plot for the video basically centers around Rockz’s many roles and responsibilities that she takes on in her every day life. As mentioned before, she pretty much does it all. So the video showcases her: cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, recording, and more. All of which can be overwhelming at times, hence the title and theme of the track. Other scenes include her hanging out with Pudj and glimpses of her adorable sons. Also, her fellow Brewed Fresh Records chica Annie Mae, makes a cameo appearance. All in all, this was a quality well put together piece.
**My Two Cents: I thought this was a great video. What makes it so dope is the personal aspects of it. Seeing Rockz actually doing everything, her children being present, etc; really gave it an authentic feel. Plus, the track itself is one that a lot of people can connect with. Once you become an adult with multiple responsibilities, life becomes tough period. Pudj’s empathetic and encouraging rhymes were a good look too. And this was Sinista’s first official music video and he handled it all on his own. That is impressive, he did an excellent job. Props to all involved with the visuals! -MinM
