Too Dope Chicks is a fresh  communication, event execution, and lifestyle boutique agency ran by previously featured entertainment entrepreneur Poizon Ivy and her partner Leah. Readers can learn more about the ladies and what they do by visiting the official Facebook Page of the company. Over the past week or so, the ladies have shared various content from their vast array of clientele. One of said individuals is a female rapper by the name of K’ Valentine. K’ Valentine is holding it down for Chicago and has always been drawn to artistic/creative things. She became a fan of Hip-Hop at a young age but got her start by immersing herself in poetry. After receiving high accolades (after all not everyone can say that they got the seal of approval from literary icon Maya Angelou) and growing within the art form, she finally decided to make the progression into rhyming. In 2011, she released her debut project Breakfast At Tiffany’s, which served as a personal introduction of sorts to the blossoming female rapper. Her music is a source of innovative flow and style to her fans but is more of a form of therapy for K’ Valentine herself.

Earlier this year, K dropped a new project entitled K’ Valentines Day. Last month she set forth a new visual for one of the tracks off of the mixtape. The track is called “2 Reasons.” It’s a quiet record with a consistent bass, mellow musical ingredients, and calm vibe. The hook is catchy and upfront. The verses are adequate. K’ Valentine serves up a signature flow, sassy wordplay, and mature rhymes. She does a thorough job of letting the fellas know exactly what it takes to get her attention. Overall, this is a pretty decent offering. The video for the record was done by Wildbeats Team. The visuals basically follow K and the various ways she entertains a gentleman caller. There is some light flirty fun in the park and then some more grown up action during a quaint rendezvous indoors. In between the main scenes, are solo shots of K jamming and teasing it up for the camera. As a whole, this was a sufficient watch.

**My Two Cents: This was a likeable introduction to K’ Valentine. The single is on point and the video was of a great standard. Additionally, her flow and style really are something worth experiencing. If readers agree, K’ Valentine’s website can be found via the above provided link and she is also on Twitter. -MinM
