Last month, readers were introduced to new Atlantic Records femcee Brianna Perry. She’s the young Florida rapper on the fast track to the top of the Hip-Hop game. Miss Perry has just released a new video for her hit single “Marilyn Monroe.” Check out the visuals below.
This video was directed by Coodie & Chike. The plot for the project basically just centers around Brianna in a variety of scenarios. There are vibrant colorful scenes, black & white Marilyn influenced scenes, etc. Also, there is a little bit of dancing going on. And Brianna keeps it all entertaining and fun to watch with her animated antics and undeniable swag. As a reminder, “Marilyn Monroe” is available via iTunes now. Additionally, the remix featuring DMV rapper Wale can be heard in the previously mentioned introduction. **My Two Cents: I thought this video was cool. All of the different looks Brianna sported were cute and it looked like she was having a blast during the video. And she did a nice job of playing on the Marilyn Monroe theme without doing too much. So all in all, I’d say this was a decent project. Thanks to Atlantic rep Ivy Awino for sharing the video! -MinM
