Back in October, readers were put on to a track from Ay-Rock of Technology Records called “Man Of The Hour.” It received a four star review due to it’s banging production and high grade content. It will appear on his upcoming project RTG (Ready To Go) and the review for the single can be found here. As mentioned in the previous post, there is a video component for the hit selection. The visuals were officially released yesterday (11/23) and can be viewed below.
The flick opens with a few words from DJ Technology himself. From there, Ay-Rock comes into the mix and the song proceeds as normal. The concept for the piece is relatively straightforward. It basically just showcases the Texas bred talent in an assortment of different looks as he gives a very turned up performance of the selection. The different set ups are emphasized by a slick range of special effects that include everything from speedy transitions to dual imagery tricks to inventive color ploys. In between the resourceful scenes, DJ Technology is shown getting it in on the one’s and two’s. The vision concludes with glimpses of Ay-Rock and DJ Technology jamming out and doing a little light trash talking. As a whole, this is a blue ribbon offering.
**My Two Cents: I love this video just as much I love the song. It’s simple but captures the heart of the record perfectly. Ay-Rock showed all the way out on the performance tip and DJ Technology is quite the entertaining individual. Readers will dig this one for certain. So go ahead and press that play button. The cover art and track-listing for RTG (Ready To Go) were unveiled along with this video. Which means the wait is almost over. So make sure to keep those eyes and ears peeled. -MinM
