40Mil is a Milwaukee bred producer and videographer with a Midas touch. He obtained a working knowledge of the essentials of his crafts by studying at the Art Institute of Wisconsin. He has over a decade under his belt in music production and a little over three years worth of experience behind the camera. He has worked with any and every noteworthy name in the 414 including: The Cranberry Show, Kia Rap Princess, Proph, Artist Brown, and Yo-Dot just to name a few. Additionally, he brought to life the score for the hit independent film Role Play. If that wasn’t enough, his beats have cemented him as a finalist on numerous occasions in the legendary Miltown Beat Down showcase.

He has harvested his talents under two individual companies: 40Mil Productions and Audio Addix Production Team & Group. While the first company is more of a solo venture, Audio Addix consists of a collective of talented affiliates such as: DJ PayDay, Chris Goodwin, Jackie B, Brian Parris, Montrey Slayton, Monique Taylor, Tory Lowe, and Chazz Dixon. 40Mil’s goal with both companies is to expand and grow the music scene in Milwaukee as well as help his team reach the ultimate levels of success.

40Mil hasn’t forgotten about the world outside of the entertainment industry either. In 2014, he teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club to organize a program for at risk teens. The program is called The Urban Music/Video Program aka TUMVP and the first session ran throughout the summer. The participants got educated on producing music, working with videos, and alcohol and drug awareness. They even got to develop a song and public service announcement piece for their final project. It was well received and has undoubtedly set the tone for future aspirations. 40Mil is steadily growing in his fields and is starting to pick up steam outside of his hometown, like in the Chicago area for example. He got the opportunity to be involved in the iStandard Producers Showcase where he impressed some pretty heavy hitters in the industry. And surely that was just the tip of the iceberg. With his high caliber output, die hard work ethic, and consistent professionalism; there is no question that 40Mil is destined to one day be mentioned amongst the greats (E.g. Timbaland, Pharrell, Dr. Dre, etc.). The sky is the limit for this rising Mid-West phenomenon.

**My Two Cents: I clicked with 40Mil the very first time that I met him. He’s got a good spirit and his beats are ridiculous. I have yet to hear one that I didn’t love. He’s coming up on his camera game quite nicely too. If for some reason you aren’t familiar with the best beat maker in the Mil, you can check out some of his work here. -MinM
