Lady SabO has been mentioned on the site a time or two before. Therefore it seemed only right to shine a little light on her and her music. She is the CEO and founder of Self Made Entertainment. Currently the young emcee is preparing to drop a brand new mixtape. The tape is titled S.T.A.R In the Making and is scheduled for release sometime this month. To help generate a buzz, the young rapper unleashed a video just 2 weeks ago for a track called “Voices.” The song consists of sleek street style production and hot lyrics. Find out how everything carried over to the video, after the break.
The video was done by the super talented Sergio Soprano of EsGee Films. It includes cameos from several of the city’s well known artists such as: Big Curse, $killz, Boys Like Britain, and more. It is shot in a sick combination of black & white with shades of blue mixed in. There is also a reoccurring motif of television screens with bits and pieces of lyrics on them. Ski masks and cars are occasionally sighted as well. All of the elements fit together flawlessly and really bring to life the infectious yet no-nonsense vibe of the song. As a whole, both the single and video are bangers. Lady SabO and Sergio Soprano snapped, no question.
**My Two Cents: I love everything about this song and video. Both are of top notch quality and they go hand in hand like they should. There is nothing bad to be said nor anything to critique. Props to SabO and Sergio on a job well done. Readers can catch Lady SabO on Twitter. -MinM
