The Wisconsin State Fair is the Summer event of all events for local residents. The 11 day gala attracts people of all ages and walks of life. From the exciting foods to the exotic animals, there is no shortage of things to experience. Also, it is very family friendly. Which is always a plus. 2012 makes for 161 years that the fair has been around as part of Wisconsin residents’ Summer traditions. That is quite a long time. And that type of longevity deserves to be celebrated. So the creative souls over at High Education Records decided to put together a song and video in honor of the 2012 Wisconsin State Fair. Check it out.

H.E.R.’s own Moses served as the producer for this track. His fellow record mates: Lizzy Bassen, Jermaine Event, and Mad Static provided the vocals/raps for the cut. The video was directed by Sawyer Purman. Who also had a hand in editing the project along with Ben Anderson. Both are a part of Altrac Productions. The video revolves around the Higher Education Records crew having a blast while out and about. They hang out at the beach, kick it with some animals, play games, and more. There is even some trendy dancing and accessories involved. The video ends with a beautiful nature shot of the water and the skyline. Overall, this was a very fun piece to watch.

**My Two Cents: I thought this was really entertaining. It is a great way to bring in the fair this year. Also, it was cool to see the H.E.R. team come together to create something different. And they genuinely looked like they were having the best time, especially Mad Static (lol). 2012 Wisconsin State Fair kicks off next week on August 2nd and runs until the 12th. Readers can get more info via Facebook or the fair website. And don’t forget to head on over to Sound Cloud and download the anthem for FREE. What better song to play while planning your trip to the fair? -MinM
