Money Green (album review)
$hamrock has dropped video number four off of his latest LP, Money Green. His recent eye catcher is for the single, “Wyte Music.” The track is number 10 off of the album and features underground / indie legend, Horrorcore rapper Lord Infamous. Ribah On The Beat is the mastermind behind the production on this cut. It is an abrasive track with edgy content. See what vision the song inspired after the break.
$hamrock stuck with Respect The Logo and Bloodline Productions for the making of this video. The video opens with a tribute of sorts to Wyte Music CEO and veteran rapper Lil Wyte. This is carried out via close up shots of a poster of the album artwork for his latest project, Still Doubted?. There are also glimpses of other Wyte Music releases. And of course Lil Wyte’s vocals contribute to the hook of the song. Creative ways to pay homage. From there, the visuals center around $ham kicking lines from his verse while meandering about outdoors rocking a blue Wyte Music t-shirt. The piece is boosted by $ham’s cool breeze charisma. Especially since the weather was pretty drab and rainy. The television style special effects added a little something to the visuals as well. All in all, $ham and the crew have another one in the bag.
**My Two Cents: This was a prime offering. I have mad admiration for $ham for the way he represented for his Wyte Music family. That was very honorable. I also enjoyed the effects that were used. They were on point. Now we just gotta get $ham to drop a full video. I’m thinking for either “Ridin” or “Like Magic.” Maybe he will read this review and take the bait (lol). While fans wait to see what $hamrock’s next move is, they can reach out to the Southern emcee on Facebook and Twitter.
