**Editor’s Note: Tiki Da Poet is no stranger to the site. She has been sharing her wonderful pieces of poetry since May 2012. Her humble creative spirit has made her a true joy to work with. Her writings come from a very personal place and you can really tell she puts her all in every word she pens. It has also been a pleasure having her do spoken word at the site’s various events these past couple of years. She is always great about opening the show and the artists seem to really vibe with her. Plus, she sticks around as long as she can and returns all of the love/support to her fellow performers. That is not too common to see here in the 414. So for all of her loyalty to the site and to honor all of her new accomplishments, I felt it was time to let her rock the mic again for old times’ sake. So she will be doing a bit of spoken word on December 13th and she mentioned that she might have a little something special in store just for the big night. I personally can not wait to see her do her thing. If you want to catch her as well, the celebration goes down on December 13th at Y-Not III. Doors open at 9pm and there will be a $5 cover.
