As indicated in the previous recap, there were two editions of Mid-West Minute Radio last week. The second show took place on Friday (1-18-13). It was a pretty major one too, as the opening guest was none other than Atlanta rapper / reality star, Rasheeda (Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta). She dished on her feelings about being on the infamous show, her conflict with fellow artist / reality star K. Michelle, her new music, and more. Following her appearance, Baby Face Monster got a chance to chop it up with some of his fellow Chicago peeps: Bobby D’Nero and King Samson. They talked music, Chicago Hip-Hop events / resources, and the list goes on. Readers can catch up on it all by simply clicking play on the above player.
**My Two Cents: This was my favorite installment of Mid-West Minute Radio so far. I loved Rasheeda’s interview. I respect the fact that they did not shy away from the tough questions about her time on VH1 and she came off as a real humble down to earth female. I also feel I learned a little bit more about what the windy city has to offer within their Hip-Hop community. So that was interesting as well. Mid-West Minute Radio is live again this Wednesday (1-23-13) from 8pm-10pm. I heard a takeover is going down, so it’s going to be quite the show. Be sure to tune in if you can. -MinM
