The second installment of Mid-West Minute Radio kicked off last week Wednesday (1-16-13). So of course it’s recap time. This edition of the show was hosted by Baby Face Monster and one of his media partners, Sicksteen of  blog site: Yesterdays Nothing. The show kicked off with “STL’s Top 10 Moments of 2012” with DJ WhoBeta of STL Hip-Hop. Listeners were also privy to a word or two from St. Louis media personality / rapper, Bo Dean.

Afterwards, the show carried on with the guests for the evening. Chicago’s own Young General was up first. He gave an insightful interview and gave exclusive listens to songs from his project, Hip-Hop For Adults Volume 2. KC Carter also repping for Chi-Town was up next. He brought his down to earth persona and shared some tunes from his It Takes Two mixtape. And last but not least, Milwaukee was held down by Ready Ross & C. Mills. They discussed their win at Battlefield Milwaukee, the new MKE United movement, and more. And as always there was music from Baby Face Monster himself. Those who didn’t get a chance to tune into the live show can catch the recorded version via the provided player.

**My Two Cents: It was another successful night for Mid-West Minute Radio. It was dope to see all the different states that were represented with nothing but respect and love. Props to everybody involved for setting such a positive example. There was a special edition of Mid-West Minute Radio that took place last Friday on the 18th. Recap coming soon, so be sure to check back! -MinM
