It has been a while since anything has been heard from Milwaukee/NYC femcee Signif. So when she dropped her new video, had to share it with readers. The video is for her song “Like My Style” off of her Embracing Rejection LP. The track was produced by Gee Wiz and is the third release from the project. The video was directed by both Darren Cole and Signif herself.
Signif had this to say about the song/video: “[Like My Style] is me explaining how I don’t fit the typical rapper mode, and how I’m 100% fine with that.” The visuals fall just under two minutes and feature three different versions of Signif as pictured above. The distinguished femcee pretty much just spits her lines and puts her quirky personality on full display throughout the video. It’s a quick piece but Signif gets her point across loud and clear.
**My Two Cents: As always with Signif and her work, I liked this. It was simple and short, but it got the job done. If readers haven’t already, they should head over to Band Camp and give Embracing Rejection an ear. It’s a dope project and a good sample of Signif’s individuality and talent.
