Last Summer, readers were put on to Scholar Script SB of BrewSky Entertainment via his High Lite Real mixtape. He was quiet for a moment but has resurfaced with a brand new track. The single is called “Pronto” and it will appear on his upcoming tape, No Love Lost. The production here is hot. It is made up of a fresh rhythm, solid bass, a middling pace, and a street club vibe. The hook is favorable. The delivery is free spirited and the lyrics are engaging. The verses are premium. Scholar Script SB executes an entertaining flow, crisp wordplay, and first-rate rhymes. He does a quality job of showing off his talents while touching on topics such as: partying, women, his career, other artists, and more. A couple of lines worth rewinding include: “All these rappers sound the same. Please try something different. Your career ain’t going nowhere. Go head grab a Snickers. Used to say I’m next up, turn my back and they would giggle. Started using different filters. Now they get the bigger picture.” Clever spitting by SB in those bars right there. All in all, this is a hit single and a good way to start building anticipation for the new tape.
**My Two Cents: I thought SB was dope before but he seems to have gotten even better. Which means some of his time away was well spent. I’m looking forward to hearing the new project.
