One of Milwaukee’s finest artists Pizzle dropped a new gem on his supporters not too long ago. It’s titled “The Hunger” and it was produced by Jahlil Beats. The production is stellar. The aggressive foundation, sinister music components, gradual tempo, and cold vibe make for a four star blend. There is no traditional type of hook used on this record. A brief nod to the song’s title does take place at the end though. The extended verse is of a noteworthy quality. Pizzle exhibits a wicked flow, audacious wordplay, and meritorious rhymes. He serves as a prime example of an emcee with a deep rooted passion for his craft. A few lines worth remembering are: “24/7, 365 I do numbers. Pick up that lettuce. Like Tone said I’ll do you dudes in my slumber. Got yo hoe nude on my Tumblr. We keep balling when n—as fumbling. These mediocre n—as busted. And I keep trying to act humble. But now I’m like f–k that. Enough is enough. And you n—as ain’t bringing enough back. (…) Show you the way like a compass. Reach from afar but don’t come past. Got a heater in this compartment. Let’s see if you really could make a comeback.” Those are some imperious starting bars right there. Overall, this song is a smash.

**My Two Cents: This was another sick effort by Pizzle. The production was attention grabbing and he came super tough with the content. The listener could definitely hear the desire in his voice as he went in. In other news, Pizzle shared with the site the fact that he is working on an upcoming release for 2014. It will be called Depreciated Art. So stay tuned in for future updates, leaks, etc. -MinM
