It is not uncommon for the mothers of celebrities to end up with their own 15 minutes of fame off of the heels of their children’s’ success. Especially these days where celebs invite the world into their family lives via one reality television show or another. Lolita Carter mother to controversial Chicago rap artist Chief Keef, is next up in the spotlight. On June 17, she will be releasing a biographical film entitled O.G. Sosa: A Documentary. The project is being handled by Hip-Hop Junkies Film and Video Production Company. The movie will incorporate rare footage of Carter’s life in the windy city. Which included her spending some time with notorious old school gang The Black Disciples and giving birth to her superstar son at the mere age of 16. She describes the film as the ‘real ingredients of O.G. Sosa.’ A trailer for the documentary can be found below. On the 17th, those interested will be able to snag a digital download of the flick via the Hip-Hop Junkies website. Based on the trailer, it looks like it may just be an alright viewing. -MinM
