New Music From: Brianna Perry

Florida femcee Brianna Perry is making sure she stays on top of things by constantly dropping new material. Fresh off the release of her “Marilyn Monroe” joint, she is blessing fans with two new joints. First up is a brand new freestyle entitled “Stay Schemin.” The freestyle is done to the Rick Ross cut by the same name. Though Ross and Drake made the original version hard to follow, Brianna does an impressive job with the track. Her deep raspy flow fits the beat perfectly and she spit some very dope lines. It is certainly one of her strongest freestyles to date. Visuals for the track can be found below. The video is nice too. It centers on Perry making moves around Miami at night.

The second release from Brianna is off her current Face Off mixtape. It is called “Hey Hoe” and it features fellow Miami femcee Trina and rapper Future. The production here is solid. It contains a light bass, a few sound effects, and a chill laid back vibe. The hook is fair. Future has a unique delivery and entertaining lyrics. The verses are up to standard. Brianna handles the first verse and then Trina comes in on the second. Both ladies did a respectable job. They both had clear cut flows and moderate rhymes. However, both could have came a little harder. Brianna and Trina both have a knack for being bold and edgy female rappers. That’s what makes them so great. But it seems like they held back some on this single. Overall, even though it’s not Miss Perry’s best work, this track deserves a listen. Despite falling a tad short, it is still pretty fly. But click the link and hear the flyness for yourself. And don’t forget to reach out to Brianna via Twitter or Facebook.

**My Two Cents: “Hey Ho” is a cool cut and I like it. But “Stay Schemin” is a superior cut in my opinion. Brianna really stepped her lyrical skills up on the freestyle and the video quality is flawless. Miss Perry is constantly on her grind and growing as an artist. These other female rappers better keep an eye out. -MinM
