DMV emcee Lyriciss has dropped another set of visuals off of his current project The Balance EP: Money. This time around he decided to bring to life the very first track on the EP, “The Agenda.” This track was produced by Grussle and was one of the highlighted songs in the previous review of the EP. Go ahead and take a look below.
This video is a product of Chop N Shoot Films and takes place in Washington, D.C. at the prestigious and historic U.S. Capitol. The primary scenes focus on Lyriciss leisurely hanging out around the important landmark and doing his thing. In between those scenes, are brief clips of miscellaneous images that pertain to the track. The transitions are done well and the images were uniquely chosen. The special effects are what really make the video special though. The effects were concentrated on the lyrics in two different but very clever ways. The first way involves certain words/phrases popping up throughout the video in bold white letters. The second way involves a complete version of the single’s lyrics scrolling up as Lyriciss spits them. They are done in a faint style, so the viewer has to pay close attention. But once the concept is recognized, there is no denying that it was a very brilliant idea. The visuals wrap with a glimpse of Lyriciss leaving the U.S. Capitol and a promo shot for the EP. In the end, this was a hot piece.
**My Two Cents: I think Lyriciss delivered once again with this video. It was extra creative and it fit the theme and feel of the cut perfectly. He is truly holding it down for the DMV and I can’t wait to see what he has in store next. Keep up with Lyriciss and all of his endeavors via his website. -MinM
