Comedian Kevin Hart began his claim to fame with movies like Paper Soldiers and Soul Plane. However, in recent years he has taken his career to new heights and gained a huge following via his stand-up comedy series. He is currently on tour for the fourth installment in his series, Let Me Explain. Like most entertainers these days, Kevin has an alter ego. His other personality is a rapper named Chocolate Droppa. Droppa likes to battle popular rappers. The battles are a huge hit on the net, especially on popular video site YouTube. His most recent battle making waves pits him against Paul Cain. It took place at Kevin’s home and veteran rapper Fabolous was on deck to witness the massacre. Cain is a long time associate of Fab’s. Check it out below.
One of Droppa’s more infamous battles took place against rapper/singer T-Pain. In a scene similar to that of Eminem‘s hit movie 8 Mile, T-Pain and Droppa go at it while surrounded by a group of their peers. Pain hits Droppa with all types of lines about his height and everything. But he just can’t seem to get the job done. Peep Droppa claiming one of his first victims below.
**My Two Cents: I am a HUGE Kevin Hart fan! Especially, since Katt Williams has disappeared on us. And these battles are just too hilarious. What makes it so bad though, is Kevin has some alright rhymes here and there. His flow is nice too. If he ever became serious about being an emcee, I’d definitely support him. Either way, I hope Kevin doesn’t plan on going anywhere any time soon. As long as he keeps things fresh and original, he has a long wonderful career ahead of him. “Real rap raw ….
