Jada is an up-and-coming diva of many talents from Charlotte, North Carolina who was originally born in NYC. She sings, writes, produces, plays instruments, and dances. Additionally, she has been featured on BET and opened up for artists like: Bow Wow, Lloyd, Lupe Fiasco, and Macklemore on tour. If all of that wasn’t enough, she is a part of a girl group called Heroine which is affiliated with the Young, Rich & Bored lifestyle brand. Currently, she is working on taking her own solo career to the next level. Her first venture in accomplishing said goal is the release of her EP, Good. A sample of the EP can be found here. Her team sent over the project’s title track to give The Illixer a glimpse of what Miss Jada can do.

The production here is excellent. The flavorful base, breezy colorful musical elements, savvy tempo, and mild mannered vibe fit perfectly together. The hook is of a four star quality. The harmonies are proper and the lyrics are easy to comprehend. The verses are short, simple, and sweet. Jada supplies down to earth vocals and memorable lyrics. She lays out how a guy should treat a lady in a fresh and innovative manner. She croons: “Save a little of your love for me baby girl, alright? And you should let me be the one you hugging in the middle of the night. Girl I heard that you be creeping and that s–t it ain’t right. But I know what to do to make that a** act right.” One can’t deny the pizzazz within those lines right there. As a whole, this is a delightful single.
**My Two Cents: I am definitely here for Jada. She has a great look, sound, and style. This single is seriously on point. The production is lively & compliments her voice flawlessly. And the content is light as well as captivating. This is a smart way to get people excited about the EP for sure. I will be going to check out the preview on Dat Piff asap. Readers should certainly give this one a spin or two for themselves. I can’t wait to see/hear what else Jada has to offer in the future. -MinM
