We found seats in a showless place. Only one show into her world tour, Rihanna was forced to cancel tonight’s show in Boston. She was scheduled to perform at the TD Garden in Boston, but LiveNation postponed the show this morning. LiveNation posted this excuse, “Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor’s instruction is unable to perform this evening.” Rihanna is scheduled to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday, which LiveNation says will go on. As for the Boston show, it will be rescheduled.
Laryngitis, really? This tour was planned a year in advanced. During that year, Rihanna snorted, drank, and smoked herself silly, way up to about a good two days before the tour began. So miss me with she’s sick. She is always ‘sick’ when it’s time to actually work. She wasn’t sick when she was posting pictures of herself semi-nude and smoking weed. She wasn’t suffering from laryngitis when she was chasing Chris Brown all over town or laughing at Ciara’s bathroom vocals (actually we all was laughing at CiCi). So girl bye, she is about as sick as a negative HIV test. If she rather be Chris’s Tae Bo partner than to go on tour, she should’ve said something. Wasting people’s time and money is always a no-no. Always. Anyway, I highly doubt this will be the last show to be canceled. So until the next illness, Rihanna and her sickly goat vocals will try to show up to a venue near you. -Pooh Bailey
