Apehouse is a musical duo that hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The group consists of members: Hollywood P and Stax. They decided to get serious about their passion for music in 2013 and haven’t slowed down since. They’ve garnered quite the performance history too; sharing stages with well known names such as: Rich Homie Quan, Webbie, Tink, E-40, and more. They credit their success to their long standing bond and the pairing of their individual talents & personas. Currently, they are gearing up to hit the road courtesy of the infamous Big Heff. Their Streets Most Wanted Tour is actually kicking off on the home-front. The fellas will be making their WI appearance in the city of Green Bay later on today.
To show the cheese state what they’re made of, their PR team sent over the visuals to their single “Blessings.” The track is set to a smooth low-key instrumental with a mature vibe. The hook is kosher with complimentary vocals and straightforward lyrics. The verses are decent with orthodox flows and adequate rhymes. The tone is definitely set for a night of drinking, zoning out, and adult fun. All in all, “Blessings” is a fair little number. The visuals are a product of Dream Work Conquer Films. The theme of the vision embodies the record completely. It entails the fellas getting together for a little rendezvous complete with party favors and attractive women. The quality of the piece is excellent. Everything looks very clean and sharp. Overall, it’s not a bad watch.
**My Two Cents: I got a modest first impression of Apehouse from listening to & watching “Blessings.” I’d be interested in seeing what else they have to offer. So if you’re in the Green Bay area tonight, I’d consider going to check them out. And tell them The Illixer sent you. -MinM
