It was previously mentioned that the hard working fellas of Amerikas Addiction were going to be releasing their own web series in honor of their upcoming album. The series is entitled Life Of An Addict and the first episode debuted last week. The purpose of the series is to give people an honest look into what it’s like for indie/underground artists who are trying to turn their passion for music into a serious career. Viewers will be privy to the good, the bad, and everything in between. Take a look at episode one below.
This episode features a wide range of events. It’s starts off with the fellas preparing for the “College Girl” video shoot. Towards the middle of the show, the duo can be seen giving a live and very candid performance at The Miramar Theatre. And then the episode ends with J The Truth and Addiction working on their upcoming album in a very special place. It’s pretty cool to be able to see all the work put in behind the music, videos, etc. This was an easy going start to the series. Stay tuned for episode two. **My Two Cents: I think this is a neat idea and really liked this episode. I loved seeing how “Lights” was created and it was great to see J The Truth and Addiction being themselves and in their element. I think the fans of Amerikas Addiction will get a real kick out of the new series and I am looking forward to seeing how things progress.
