“Love N Hate” (listen/download)
The homie Sinista New Breed has been making his way back into the music aspect of the game in a major fashion as of late. He has released a couple of new tracks that have gotten nothing but good feedback. The most recent of which is a somber single about a love lost entitled “Love N Hate.” The production here is excellent. It contains a strong piano component with a moderate tempo and reserved bass. The hook is well put together. The delivery matches the beat perfectly. The lyrics are quality and easy to relate to. The verses are choice. Sinista brings a polished yet emotional flow with deep sincere rhymes. He does a great job of reflecting on his broken relationship. His words paint a distinct picture that really leaves quite the impression on the listener. Noteworthy lines include: “I write you letters but they return to sender. Trying to figure out a plan so that I can see the end of everything that I’m feeling inside. Cause I thought you were my sun but you burned out and died. Always said it was forever but I guess we lied. Now I’m drowning in this river of the tears you cried.” Heavy stuff, right? Overall, this track is a winner and some of Sinista’s best work. Stay tuned for the upcoming visuals to the single.
**My Two Cents: This is my new favorite Sinista cut. The song is very touching. Also, the production and Sin’s contribution were a match made in heaven. He really worked nicely with the beat.
