After months of exciting trailer snippets, photos of star studded cast members transformed into their evil twisted counterparts, and various other methods of buzz inducing promotion, the hugely anticipated Suicide Squad film finally hit theaters this past Friday (8/5). The flick features names such as: Will Smith, Viola Davis, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie, just to name a few. The premise centers around the worst of the worst villains from everyone’s favorite comics coming together to save the earth from a dangerous entity. It is every bit of epic as it seems.

Ever since Drizzy gave you that L, Rihmeek you, got a reputation for yourself now. Ranting at shows because you feel left out. Meek, your career is dying, you seem stressed out. Now you beefing with Wale, what is that about? I guess Meek Mill didn’t learn from the last time about posting his problems with other rappers on Social Media. Nicki Minaj’s current fling took to his Instagram to address Wale’s comments on The Breakfast Club. Basically Wale told the radio personalities that he is sort of a disgruntled employee. And Robert Rihmeek Williams decided to address his co-worker on Instagram ….

A year has passed since the site featured long time affiliate DJ Trill Will. He’s still going hard in the radio market and is locking down the club scene in a variety of locations around Wisconsin as well. To top it all off, he dropped one of his infamous mixtapes at the end of last month. With the recent rift between those behind the one’s & two’s and local artists, it comes at just the right time.

It has been a minute since there has been a review and the reason why is because there has been a LOT to review. We have had a lot of albums / mixtapes come and go these last few weeks, many of those have required me to give them multiple listens. Call it a matter of indifference, call it intuition, but they definitely required as much attention as possible. For this review, I’m going to list the projects I have wanted to review over the last month and in fifty words or less, give you my opinion on these efforts. Let me just get this out of the way right now. If you’re a fan of any of these artists, you’ve been warned.

“TELL HOVA DON’T PASS THE CROWN SO SOON. UNLESS HE GOT A CROWN FOR EVERY WRITER IN THE ROOM. THERE’S TOO MANY SPIRITS ON THESE GHOST-WRITTEN TUNES. SO YOU CAN’T CROWN THE HEIR UNTIL YOU SÉANCE THE ROOM.” – Pusha T (“Illin”)

Well it seems Meek Mill is the newest bully to ruffle the feathers of everyone’s favorite Canadian child actor, Drake. Granted Meek’s rant was ignited over the dumbest thing ever, but it still left a few of us wondering about rapper Drizzy Drake. Does he write his own lyrics? For some, including myself, this would make perfect sense seeing that his upbringing and his current bravado don’t match. I’m not saying he doesn’t write his own lyrics, because he has written for others. I’m saying he might have gotten help with some lines, which old Rap heads would frown on and new-rap heads couldn’t care less about. And that’s where we as Rap fans are clashing.
