After unleashing one of the most anticipated LP’s of the year, Milwaukee emcee $killz (Sypher Squad) is ready to drop the next big thing on his supporters. He is gearing up to come with a brand new mixtape entitled, Superman Returnz: Destined 4 Greatness. He recently broke the news when he released a major collaboration with another 414 favorite, Kia Rap Princess (Blaqlizt Music Entertainment). Separately, the duo have proven to be beasts at what they do. Together they are even more deadly. The production here is quintessential. It encompasses: a hushed dramatic foundation, resolute musical ingredients, and a brash yet captivating vibe. The hook is a marvel too. The deliveries are magnetic and the lyrics are contagious. The verses are sterling as well. Kia brings the heat first and $killz lights the mic up next. Both talents offer up flows full of character, stylish wordplay, and inimitable rhymes. The duo truly spawned a one of a kind anthem dedicated to the people. With Kia spitting lines like: “Usually catch me out solo but now I’m riding out with my partners. And we talking ’bout clocking dollars. Getting money and the power. N–as like Kia you cut the dreads off but you still smoke like a Rasta,” and $killz bringing fire like: “Homie got work in the middle of my pocket. And I can give it to you for a little bit of profit. If it ain’t ’bout a dollar than it gotta be some non-sense. Sorta like a bank but I only take a deposit. I need money up in my hand. Cash all in my pocket. They say bands a make her dance. Then get to work and start popping;” one can’t deny that the pair has definitely got something serious in their respective arsenals. Overall, this was a brilliant collaboration and the perfect way to get the buzz going for Superman Returnz: Destined 4 Greatness.

**My Two Cents: This was one of the best things to hit my Facebook news feed in a long time. I am a huge fan of both artists and they lived up to my expectations ten fold on this record. Additionally, they deserve much respect for representing for all sides of the city. However, those of us on the North-side should feel just a tad bit prouder that they are from our neck of the woods. Readers need to give this an ear for sure and then share it with a friend. -MinM
