**Editor’s Note: Everyone knows that I love discovering new artists and sharing them with my readers. I especially like to look out for my fellow females in the Hip-Hop world. So meet Marilyn McBandz. She’s a young up-and-coming artist here in the 414. I was turned on to her music by the site’s own Pooh Bailey. Her invigorating presentation and savvy lyrics made a great first impression on me. So I figured why not invite her to come out and rock the mic at the anniversary event. She’s even agreed to be in the opening part of the show. That takes a lot of guts but I’m sure she can handle it.
