While a majority of the world is looking upon this extreme Winter season with disdain, Milwaukee artist Cinco decided to use it to his advantage. He released a brand new video a few weeks ago titled “North Pole Cold” which happens to be the number four single off of his latest full length project First & Last Impressions. It features fellow artist C-RIV and was produced by Ear 2 Tha Beat. It’s a supercharged number with heavy hitting components and a party vibe. The hook is entertaining and fetching. The fellas deliver charismatic flows and canny enterprising bars for the content. All in all, it’s a blazing track. The video can be seen after the break.

This video was shot and edited by Luke Marlowe. The concept is pretty direct. It focuses on the duo as they host a bonfire in the midst of the bitter cold and snow. Despite the weather, they had a nice turn out and display of support from their peers. People even went so far as to sport costumes for the affair. There was a yeti in the mix which was a clever nod to the North Pole theme, as well as a cow which was a fitting display of Wisconsin pride. Add to that the presence of: red cups, holiday lights, spirited antics, etc; and one has all the makings of what appears to be an incredibly fun filled night. The visuals conclude with a bit of four-wheeler action. As a whole, it was a good-natured offering.

**My Two Cents: This was an awesome video. Everybody looked like they had the grandest time ever. It takes a lot of heart to party in the snow and arctic chill we’ve been experiencing lately. So hats off to Cinco & C-RIV for putting together such a well attended gathering for their flick. It’s certainly a dope record and the video represented it flawlessly.
