This time of year, many artists from all mediums are drawn to Austin, TX for the annual SXSW multi-media festival. For the first time in the festival’s history, Milwaukee was represented last night (3/12) and we here at The Illixer are very proud of all our sons and daughters who made the trip down south.

On Saturday March 15th, 2014 Guns Down MKE is once again reaching out to the people of Milwaukee. They are asking you to reach down into your hearts and souls to come together for the sake of the needy. They are organizing a lunch drive and need whatever help you can provide. On the graphic above, you are able to find all the information needed to become a part of this event. From food items to plastic baggies, nothing will go unused. We look forward to seeing the city turn out to help those less fortunate for no other reason than it is the right thing to do.
RMD Showcase at The Uptowner
Once you have done your part to help out the needy, make sure you’re ready to party at The Uptowner. Random Media Distribution presents it’s first event of 2014. The line up looks to be a total package of the city’s most talented Hip-Hop up and comers. A versatile line up always makes for an entertaining evening and with Mic Crawf hosting and Myles on the wheels of steel, you’re either going to be dancing all night or vibing to the quality artists that the 414 has to offer.
