The ever so talented Shle Berry has graced her supporters with a spirited new track and video. The single is named “On Top Of The World” and it was produced by Roca Beats. Roca did a four star job. The production excels with a consistent bass, light hearted secondary components, a fetching rhythm, and a fun vibe. The content is top notch too. The hook is memorable and features Shle flexing her melodic abilities. The verses are satisfactory as well. Shle presents a charming flow with significant rhymes that are symbolic of her determination to succeed no matter what, while at the same time serving as message of inspiration to those who may be in need of a little pick me up. It is a refreshing number overall. Discover how Shle brought the uplifting anthem to the small screen after the break.
This video was directed by Shle herself. It consists of a couple of different scenarios. One centers around Shle doing some walking down a relatively deserted road. Another, features her doing some cruising in her fantastically yellow whip. And the third one trails her and her pals to the State Fair. The State Fair scenes are the highlight of the flick. They contain a lot of elevated angles and Shle seems to be having a blast which serves as a fitting representation of the theme of the track. The visuals close out with a glimpse of the open road through Shle’s windshield window. As a whole, this was a mirthful viewing.
**My Two Cents: This was a proficient song/video. I liked the single a lot. The sassy display of perseverance and encouragement was dope. Also, the video was pleasant to watch. Everyone can relate to going to the festivals/fairs throughout the Summer and Shle gave the piece a delightful aura. Kudos to Ms. Berry for putting together another gem for her supporters.
