Anyone who is a fan of the Southern Hip-Hop scene or who follows someone on social media that is, has undoubtedly heard of rising Florida sensation Woop (Lift Off Management). He is repping for Orlando to be exact. He took the game by storm with the release of his latest mixtape, Woop Lingo. It’s a 19 track offering with production that includes familiar names The Avengerz and Luney Tunez. Both are affiliated with artist/songwriter $hamrock aka Iri$h The Pen. That also happens to be who put The Illixer on to Woop. An instant fan favorite from the tape is a single dubbed “Solo Dolo Lonely.” It is produced by the aforementioned Luney Tunez. Fans seem to be drawn to the super catchy hook and real quotable verses.
A couple of days ago, Woop set free a video for the record. The flick is handled by Legit Looks. The vision is relatively simple in nature and essentially just reflects the theme of the track. Woop is shown riding around the city by his lonesome. The camera work is all clean and the viewer is privy to some pleasant scenery. The visual concludes with a well placed close up shot of the budding talent and a bit of promotion. As a whole, it’s a dope number. Not hard at all to understand why the people are digging Woop or this joint. Readers should definitely check it out when they get a chance. -MinM
