**Editor’s Note: Mama we made it! The Illixer turns four years old today. I didn’t have an exact blueprint in mind when I first set out on this journey. I just knew that I wanted to write about music and give talented artists a legitimate platform to be heard and seen on. The site has grown way beyond what I could have ever fathomed. I feel humbled and truly blessed. Year four has definitely been another year full of memorable moments and I can’t lie, some disappointments as well. But we’re still trekking. And if I have my way, we won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Just continuing to get bigger and better. As always, a heartfelt thank you to those who support and show love. Especially all of the people who have been around since day one. We would be nothing without you and your contributions. We are looking to make some serious changes for year five. So if there are: things that you love about the site, things that you feel could be better, new things that you feel could be introduced, etc; please drop us a line in the comments section and let us know.
