Now that Collaboration Month is over, its back to business as usual for R&B singer Kal’L. Which means finishing up his new music every two weeks project. An interesting note about the two week releases is that all of the songs are being compiled into a mixtape titled, The Campaign. It will be available January 17, 2013.

For his return to the venture, Kal’L laced his supporters with a track dubbed, “Atmosphere.” The production here is comely. It is comprised of luscious musical ingredients that generate a tender vibe. The hook is relishable. The vocals are a dream fit for the production. The lyrics are emotive and illuminative. The verses are laudable. Kal’L dispenses quintessential vocals with amatory lyrics. He lets a special person in his life in on how he feels about being separated from her and on what manages to bring him comfort. He imparts: “I don’t know what it is about the moon that reminds me of you. I don’t know what it is about the stars that makes me want to be where you are. Having you so far away from me drives me insane.” Those lines give off a very idyllic aura and would warm the heart of any female who was on the receiving end of them. Overall, this track was an optimal way to bring back the campaign.

**My Two Cents: This was a felicitous offering. I heart the theme of the track and love Kal’s play on the atmosphere related terms. That was pretty artistic. He makes for a great person to collab with but it is nice to have his solo efforts back in the picture. Readers are encouraged to show the hard working R&B singer some appreciation and hit his Facebook Page with a like. -MinM
