Popular hood emcees Joey D and J.O. Ryda are back with another video for readers. This video is for their song “Drunk B4 I Hit The Club.” The track has an infectious appeal to it and was produced by Danno Beats. It makes for a great street party anthem.
This video is another O.C.P. directed project. There is no set concept for the video. But there are a few reoccurring images of party favors. The most popular of which is alcohol. Which is pretty complimentary to the song. Otherwise, the visuals just display J.O. and Joey on super chill mode in their element. Also, there are a few different tricks with the colors and transitions. And that basically sums up the video. It’s a brief track. So the video is short, simple, and sweet. All in all, it’s a smooth and dope piece.
**My Two Cents: I loved this track when I heard J.O. and Joey perform it at Tha Spot. So I was excited to see the video and it didn’t disappoint. It was very laid back and straight forward but still had style. Which is the same vibe that the duo gives off in person. So the visuals were a great representation of both the song and the artists. Don’t forget to check out Joey D and J.O. Ryda’s Brew City anthem, if you haven’t heard or seen it already. And I hear they are sitting on a few more videos as well. So stay tuned to the site. -MinM
