Music Quickies: DJ Poizon Ivy Interviews The Legendary Just Blaze

Milwaukee music industry taste-maker and DJ, Poizon Ivy got the opportunity of a lifetime last month. She was given the chance to chop it up with world renowned DJ/producer Just Blaze. Just Blaze has been active in the business since 1997. He has worked with everyone from Jay Z to Mariah Carey and is the man behind hits such as: “Girls Girls Girls,” “Breathe,” “Touch The Sky,” and the list goes on. He came to the 414 for a special event at The Miramar Theatre. Ivy’s interview with him was the start of her new series “5 in 5.” The series will feature her taking five minutes to shoot the breeze with some of the biggest and brightest in the entertainment world. However, she and Just Blaze got such a rapport going that their session lasted a little bit longer than five minutes.
