**Editor’s Note: 2012 is officially out of here and 2013 is about two days old. The Illixer had a great run in 2012 and I am hoping that things will continue to get bigger and better in the new year. I am not much on resolutions because they always seem to get broken. However, there are four goals that I have in place for the site this year and they are as follows …
New Look: Makeovers always bring about a new energy to things. So the site will be receiving a new logo and background.
Diverse Posts: Music is awesome but the site was always meant to cover the full spectrum of entertainment. So look for more: news, poetry, commentaries, etc. If readers have any ideas or suggestions on content that they would like to see on the site, please feel free to share!
Maintaining Quality: The site’s biggest compliments are the clean look and thorough professional elements to the posts. Definitely going above and beyond to ensure that stays intact.
Expanding: Milwaukee is home and I will always show love and support the artists here. But I want to do more to get the site involved with music scenes in other Mid-West cities like Chicago, for example. There is a lot of talent and opportunity in this region and I want the site to truly embrace it’s motto.
So those are the things that I for sure want to make happen this year. If anyone feels like they can help out in any of these areas or has other ideas to help improve the site, please don’t hesitate to drop a line in the comments section.
