Time to introduce another act new to the site from the 414. So readers meet the fellas of First Class. First Class is a family based group that consists of members: Skyy Phreshh (artist), Scottie Phreshh (artist), Julien Haygood (manager), and Dionne Gray (assistant manager). Their goal is to strive to make music that is: fun, quality, and exciting for their supporters. Their influence for said goal comes from growing up in the inner city and experiencing a lot of lows, rough times, etc. Their debut LP, Peace To The Gods, is currently in the works and set to hit the public sometime within the near future. It is being executively produced by Armani “The New Kid” Hughes. To keep up a buzz for the LP, the team has a released a single dubbed “Anarchy” complete with a set of visuals.

The song itself is set to a bass heavy instrumental with lively musical components, an infectious tempo, and a magnetic vibe. The hook is legit too. The delivery is charismatic and the lyrics are interesting. The verses are dope. The duo bring well polished flows, quick-witted wordplay, and notable rhymes. They give the listener a glimpse of how they turn up, their conscious mindsets, and their appreciation of The Purge film franchise. All in all, this record is a smash hit.

The video for the tune is done by JSwaqq Productions. The primary setting for the flick is a cold snowy desolate area. Kind of reminiscent of what the city might look like if anarchy or a purge did in fact happen. There is also an underground tunnel locale in the piece. Despite the bleak surroundings, the twosome serve up a lot of energy and personality throughout the vision. Which helps take it to another level. To add to their spirited performances, there are a variety of slick camera & editing tricks at work too. The project concludes with slightly trippy shots of the group in the aforementioned tunnel and a nod to their upcoming album. As a whole, it is a very creative and captivating watch.

**My Two Cents: First Class has made a very strong initial impression on me. The single is great. I love the diversity of the content. It both entertains and enlightens, which I was not necessarily expecting from the fellas. And the video makes for the perfect compliment. The vacant nature of the settings plays nicely on the theme of the song. The aura from Skyy & Scottie make it hard not to get caught up in the video. And the whole thing is superbly edited / tricked out with the differing effects, angles, etc. I really like this group and hope their pending LP lives up to the high standard set by the “Anarchy” song & video. -MinM
