“Trap Stupid” F/ Trunk Bussa & EZ Money (listen/download)
If you have me as a friend on Facebook then you know that I have a very dope local track that I wanted to release tonight … FOR FREE! Yes, MKE artist R.A. has created some fire with two other dope Milwaukee native’s by the names of Trunk Bussa and EZ Money Gonzalez. The track is titled “Trap Stupid.” I’d say the title is definitely self-explanatory once you give it a listen. All three of these guys slaughtered this track! I wanted to learn more about the way this track came about, so I caught up with R.A. himself and asked him some questions.
Cell: Tell us a little bit about “Trap Stupid” and what it means to you.
R.A.: “Trap Stupid” is a record for my homie who’s currently locked up. I’ve been in Milwaukee since a child. I grew up on the east and south-side and I learned the value of street life in music then. Now I take records like “Trap Stupid” and kind of revisit chapters in my life or situations with someone I know it had happened to.
Cell: How did you link up with Trunk Bussa and EZ Money for this record?
R.A.: I chose to work with EZ Money when we met at Alpha Studios. Shout out to Joey Dee and Mike Hernandez! Me and EZ rolled to Brewed Fresh Studios and Trunk initially recorded the session. He then asked me if there was an open verse left; I let him do his thing from there. I plan on working with them on a few other records as well. Whether its individually or like we did on “Trap Stupid.”
