Seattle talent Dex Amora (Divine Atoms) recently dropped a single for his supporters to enjoy that offers a slight idea of what can be expected on his upcoming project Aura. Aura is being sponsored by music website The Word Is Bond. The song is labeled “Many Moons” and is produced by Golden Beets. It should be noted that this version of the record is not the version that will be included on the forthcoming collective.

The production here is likable. The discreet base, sophisticated background elements, flavorful rhythm, and classic vibe stream wonderfully together. The hook is mint. The delivery is enunciated and the lyrics are solid. The verses are quality. Dex Amora serves up an one of a kind flow, skillful wordplay, and adequate rhymes. He shows off his ability to masterfully navigate a beat while retaining his individuality at the same time. A couple of interesting lines from his exhibition are: “Repercussions for your actions like (…) advancement. Or probably an enhancement. Karma’s an energy re-enactment. Ain’t no acting when it comes to casting these spells. Don’t be chicken, no Ezell’s. Let me show you these details. Detailing cats who acting like spoiled brats.” Those are some eccentric bars right there. As a whole, this is a concise inventive selection.

**My Two Cents: This is a valid record. The production is first-class. It has an air of old school Hip-Hop to it. The content is enjoyable. Dex Amora came with an original style and his bars were something different. I am definitely curious to hear how the other version of this tune plays out. Aura is said to be a major step up from Dex Amora’s previous works and I think this single is a respectable indicator of top notch music to come. So press play and keep those ears open for more from Dex in the future. -MinM
