Back in May, Atlanta crooner Bobby V shook up the R&B world with his breezy new hit, “Back To Love” off of his upcoming EP, Peach Moon. Readers can peep the review of the single here. Just three short days ago, he took the single to the next level by releasing a fresh new video. See how Bobby V decided to bring the record to the small screen by watching below.

The video opens in a black & white tone with a shot of Bobby V warming up before a performance of sorts. He introduces his band who just so happen to have the same name as his pending EP. Next, he quickly runs through some vocals and then things transition right into the show. Color is brought into the hue and Bobby and his band are seen in a sophisticated club setting performing for a well dressed audience. In between glimpses of the event, are solo shots of the girl who has caught Bobby’s attention. Occasionally, she is shown spending some time with Bobby as well. Other scenes in the video include flashes of the audience members dancing and grooving along to the music. It should be noted that Hip-Hop personality Benzino (Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta) makes a quick cameo appearance in the flick. The video concludes with Bobby and his crew previewing a fresh tune for the crowd. Overall, this was a nice compliment to the single.

**My Two Cents: I enjoyed this video. It had a grown and sexy vibe to it which was a very fitting match for the track. Additionally, there was an old school R&B element at work. The performance set up took it back to a time when things were just about the music and taking in the song without all of the bells and whistles that exist in a lot of shows/concerts these days. An era where singers had real raw talent, if you will. That’s a rare treat in the current music world, so salute to Bobby V for bringing it back. As a whole, I give the video two thumbs up. I ultimately believe readers should set aside a few minutes and watch it for themselves though. -MinM
