Bad Business Junior F/ Nelly – “Fully Loaded” (Song & Video)

by Miracle

Readers meet Bad Business Junior. He’s representing for St. Louis, MO. He caught a buzz around 2016 via a collaboration with Trey Songz and the rest is pretty much history. He prides himself on holding it down for the more street side of the Lou. His ultimate goal is to prove to people that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. He wants to show the world that there is more to the hood than just violence, crime, etc. And that people from the hood can have a lot to offer despite their appearances or affiliations. That’s a dope undertaking. The Illixer was put on to the STL talent via his song/video “Fully Loaded” which just so happens to feature veteran rapper Nelly.

“Fully Loaded” consists of a solid production. There is a healthy bass, clean background elements, a middling rhythm, and a spirited vibe. The hook is decent. The delivery has that infamous STL melody to it and the lyrics are direct. The verses are gratifying. Junior take the first verse and Nelly rounds out the second. Both rappers come with low-key flows, competent wordplay, and fitting rhymes. They each give the listener a peek at their personalities as they talk their s–t (lol). A snippet from Junior includes: “Big old watch. Got it staring in they face. Ask yo b—h, I got bands by the weight. Roadrunner, I just drove ’em out of state. I’m a whole 100. They can say it to my face.” One has to appreciate the confidence oozing from those bars right there. Overall, this is a sleek number.

The video is directed by JuanShotMe. The concept for the visuals is pretty transparent. The camera basically just follows the duo as they cut up around the city. They give entertaining performances and come off like they are genuinely having a good time together. Which makes the viewer want to join in on the festivities. All in all, it’s a respectable offering.

**My Two Cents: As a Mid-West resident, I love STL rappers. So Bad Business Junior is right up my alley. He has a laid back demeanor about him but still has that Missouri charm in his style which draws you in. “Fully Loaded” is a good kicking it with the squad and getting faded type of track. It’s giving boys night out. Junior holds his own well but Nelly still got it (lol). I am here for all of the antics in the video. They were lit. I definitely think readers will enjoy too. So click play and run those views up. -MinM
